Antique Scott’s Emulsion Amethyst Glass Bottle c.1900 vintage australian advertising foxing throughoutarly 20th century Scotts Emulsion cod liver oil bottle in sun coloured amethyst glass. Rectangular form with chamfered shoulders and embossed branding to both sides. Originally manufactured in clear glass, the rich purple tone has developed through long exposure to sunlight, a characteristic transformation of manganese glass. Displays well with even colour and good clarity. Condition: Good antique condition. Light internal haze and general wear from
