About us
Since 1945 we've been supporting local businesses with our milk delivery service
From the horse and cart to an online delivery service that champions local, Creamline has seen many a change over our eight decades.
But one thing remains: we're still just as committed to serving the local businesses and homes that make up our wonderful community.
Back in 1945, Creamline Dairies was founded by Peter Roe, supplying businesses in Trafford Park and Worsley with milk. Recognising the potential in the growing doorstep delivery market, Peter began canvassing furiously and for many years Creamline was a successful doorstep delivery company.
When Peter Roe decided to sell the business in 1994, Anthony Swallow saw it as a great opportunity to get back into an industry he was passionate about, and to involve the next generation, having previously held the title of Managing Director of Didsbury based Heald's Dairies. Anthony, now chairman of Creamline Dairies, was joined by son Chris Swallow and son-in-law Rob Purvis as joint Managing Directors of Creamline Dairies who are at the helm today.
In 2013, Creamline became one of the leading independent dairy companies in the UK, acquiring the North West local delivery business of Dairy Crest.
Today, we are proud to support over 4,500 businesses and 40,000 homes across the North West including Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Chester and the Wirral.
Home doorstep deliveries
As well as serving businesses, we also deliver to more than 40,000 doorsteps across Manchester, Stockport, Warrington, Cheshire, Chester and the Wirral, offering home delivery of glass-bottled milk and dairy-free alternatives, fruit juices, groceries, store cupboard essentials, and cleaning and gardening products through our Daily Essentials range.
